As Victor Hugo once said, “Architecture is the art of organizing space,” but it is also the chronicle written in stone.

While modern technology has given architects more flexibility in materials, the historic significance and inherent sturdiness of stone remain unrivaled. However, the increasing constraints on the use of natural stone in construction have led to the innovation of stone-like materials. From terrazzo and sandblasting to stone paint, multi-colored coatings, UV printing, artificial stone, and stone-like tiles, various alternatives have been explored. Despite these efforts, balancing the stone effect, safety, durability, cost, and environmental impact has remained a challenge.

After thousands of experiments with materials and formulations, and five years of dedicated research and development, we have created flexible stone veneers made from natural quartz sand and stone powder. These veneers capture the essence of granite’s solidity, the vibrant colors of sandstone, and the rustic elegance of travertine. Their thin, lightweight, and flexible nature significantly expands their application in architecture. With readily available raw materials and simple installation, the dream of affordable “stone houses” is now within reach.
