Flexible Stone Sheets
Construction Technology
Installing flexible stone tiles & MCM tiles & stone is relatively simple whether the family or a decoration company installs it.
Also applies to Quartz Granite Wall Tiles, Travertine, Rammed Earth Panels, Wood Like Quartz Stone Tile, Face Brick Veneer Tiles.

| Wall No.4 |
|
1. Flexible stone 2. Non-cement-based adhesive mortar (full adhesion) 3. Interface treatment agent 4. Old finishing layer 5. Specific engineering design of old wall insulation system 6. Leveling layer 7. Base wall |
Applicable to the renovation of old interior and exterior wall finishes of existing buildings. |
| Other Notes |
1. The Wall 1 construction is suitable for base surfaces such as cement concrete, gypsum board, and cement fiberboard. When used on base surfaces like gypsum board and cement fiberboard, the flexible stone sheet joints should align with the gaps in the base surface. 2. The Wall 3 construction is also applicable to walls using other insulation systems, such as thermal insulation mortar. The insulation system details should refer to the specific engineering design. |

Construction Base Surface
Applicable Base Surface
Concrete, cement mortar, thermal insulation mortar surface, ALC board, PC board, steel plate, plate hanger, various external panels, precast concrete board, gypsum board, ceramic tile, various old coatings, etc. (Depending on the different base surfaces, other special primers are required)
Unsuitable Areas and Base Surfaces
The skirting of the internal and external walls, places with high humidity, the internal and external walls of the bathroom, the inner wall of the heated swimming pool, the ground, etc. (Depending on the environment, there are various unsuitable parts and base surfaces. If you want to know the details, please contact us for consultation)
Construction Process
1. Site survey
Survey the base surface status and determine the actual size of the construction area.
2. Divide the area
Divide the construction area.
The purpose of division is to reduce the waste of materials. The layout is divided according to the size of the patch stone in the designated area.
3. Preparation
Confirm the state of the base surface. The tensile strength of the base surface should be greater than 0.3Mpa. Confirm with the site manager the material of the base surface and the presence of water pipes, lines, the size of the construction site, the size of the external installation materials, etc. Especially the parts where the tile stones are pasted, such as doors and windows.
4. Maintenance
Carry out base surface maintenance on the part where the veneer stone is pasted.
5. Alkali-resistant interface agent
Apply a transparent sealing anti-alkali interface agent on the base surface.
6. Flexible Stone Construction
Confirm the size of the construction drawing and draw ink lines in the divided areas according to the layout plan. Use a serrated scraper to apply special glue on the wall, paste flexible stone, and flatten it with plastering plastic trowel after pasting.
7. Seam Treatment
Generally, the joints are filled directly with glue when pasting. You can also use caulking agent or weather-resistant glue to fill the joints after drying. Masking tape is required when applying glue.
8. Check
Repair and improve construction omissions, damages and defects.
9. Clean
Clean up and tidy up the scene before leaving.
